Arrival in Lucerne by train from the Swiss
border or airport.

| 2nd Day
|
Time at leisure in Lucerne. Due to its central
location right on Lake Lucerne and the
surrounding mountains such as f.ex. the
impressive Mount Pilatus, Mt. Rigi - Queen
of the mountains or Mount Titlis at 3020
m/10'000 ft high, Lucerne is considered to
be the «Switzerland in Switzerland». We recommend
you to explore one of the mentioned
mountains.

|
Board the GoldenPass Panoramic Brünig
train to Interlaken. The scenery you experience
is characterised by beautiful wooden
chalets weathered and browned by
the sun in a wonderful landscape.

|
Excursion up to the Jungfraujoch - Top of Europe. The Jungfrau Railway takes
you up to the Jungfraujoch - at 3454 m/
11'333 ft the highest railway station in
Europe. This region has been declared a
UNESCO World Natural Heritage region in
December 2001.

| 5th Day
|
Today you take the train to Grindelwald.
From there an aerial gondola takes you up
to the First on 2168 m/7'113 ft high where
you enjoy a fascinating panorama over the
Swiss Alps.

| 6th Day
|
The GoldenPass Panoramic BLS train
features special Salon Bleu carriages and
takes you from Interlaken through the rural
Simmental region, renowned for prosperous
farms and typically Swiss cows to
Zweisimmen. The journey continues with
the GoldenPass Panoramic MOB train
to Montreux. Do not miss the grandiose
views of the Lake of Geneva and its terraced
vineyards.

| 7th Day
|
A sweet day! In Montreux you board the
«Chocolate Train» with its nostalgic Belle
Epoque or Panoramic carriages. On the
journey a coffee and a croissant will be served
to each passenger. In Gruyères you visit
a cheese factory. Afterwards a bus takes
you to the village centre where you will have
time at your disposal for visiting the village and its castle or you might enjoy a good
lunch. The bus takes you back to the station
where you board the train again to Broc. The
Nestlé/Cailler Chocolate factory awaits you
and will show you a film about chocolate
making, you will visit the factory followed by
a chocolate tasting and an interesting factory
sale. Late afternoon pm you will be back
in Montreux.

Return to Swiss border or airport or continue
your stay in Switzerland at your own
