Zürich (Zurich) – St. Moritz
After arriving in Zürich, proceed to the train station below the airport and travel to St. Moritz (approx. 4 hrs) (change trains in Zürich and Chur), one of the most renowned holiday resorts of the world. Chic, elegant and exclusive with a pronouncedly cosmopolitan ambiance, it is situated at 1’856 m (5’624 ft) above sea level in the middle of the lake-dotted landscape of the Upper Engadine. Overnight stay at St. Moritz.

St. Moritz – Bernina Express
Today experience the newest alpine delight in Graubünden– the Bernina Express. Along one of the most beautiful railway routes in the world, there is twice as much to see as before. Start your journey in St. Moritz and go via the Bernina Pass in the south Val Poschiavo. Carry over the spiraling viaduct at Brusio on to Tirano (Italy) (approx. 2.5 hrs) or Poschiavo (approx. 2 hrs). In the afternoon you return to St. Moritz. Overnight stay at St. Moritz.

St. Moritz – Lugano
After breakfast, the Palm Express, a luxury bus, starts in St. Moritz and takes you along the delightful lakes of the Upper Engadine. You go over the Maloja Pass, through the Bregaglia Valley, across the border to Italy and to the Lake Mezzola and Lake Como. Your journey terminates in Lugano (approx. 4 hrs), Ticino’s busy “metropolis”. Overnight stay at Lugano.

Lugano – Luzern (Lucerne)
One of the highlights of the entire journey is the William Tell Express (operating from May to the mid of October) you board today. It is the link between the Italian-speaking Ticino and the German-speaking Central Switzerland. The tour starts in Lugano, where you board an air-conditioned panoramic train. You cross breathtaking bridges, pass charming villages and go up the valley towards the historic Gotthard railway tunnel. Carry on through the steep ravines and precipitous cliffs of the Reuss Valley (approx. 2.5 hrs). In Flüelen board a nostalgic paddle steamer which takes you to Luzern (approx. 2.5 hrs) . Overnight stay at Luzern.

Luzern – Mount Rigi
After breakfast, visit the Swiss Transport Museum in Luzern, which shows the past, present and future of transportation and mobility on land, sea and in the air. In the afternoon you take the boat to Vitznau (approx. 1 hrs) and then go up the Rigi by Europe’s first ever mountain railway (approx. ½ hrs). On Mount Rigi you can enjoy a stunning 360 degree panoramic view all over the Alps and the Swiss midland. Return by cable car to Weggis and take a direct boat back to Luzern. Overnight stay at Luzern.

Luzern – Interlaken – Schilthorn
Today you take the panoramic train from Luzern to Interlaken (approx. 2 hrs). In the afternoon you can take part in an excursion to the Schilthorn with its unique revolving panorama restaurant Piz Gloria, its thrilling James Bond 007 history and the spectacular view from the big terrace! Overnight stay at Interlaken.

Interlaken – Jungfraujoch – Top of Europe
After breakfast, you board the train to Kleine Scheidegg via Lauterbrunnen (approx. 1.5 hrs). The famous Jungfrau railway takes you to the highest station in Europe (approx. 1 hrs). A day of fun and excitement is awaiting you in the captivating snow peaks of Jungfraujoch – Top of Europe (3’454 m/11’333 ft). Film star Sunny Deol jumped from here into the depth in his award winning Film “The Hero”. Visit the Ice Cave with its ice formations or else explore the snow on the glacier. You find a range of international restaurants on the Jungfraujoch. Return to Interlaken (approx. 2.5 hrs) and then proceed by train to Zürich (approx. 2 hrs). Overnight stay at Zürich.
